From the very early planning stages, and all throughout the creation of our trip Sanjay Dorji at Druk Asia made sure that my dream of visiting Bhutan would be a reality. His patience and responsiveness made it seemless and stressfree. But our guide Kinley with Soul Trips made it an experience I wil carry in my heart forever. The 10 days were filed with cultural visits and hikes that immersed into the rich local life and instantly made us feel at home even thogh we were half way around the world. We had so much fun with KInley and our driver Denchen and every day was exactly what how we wanted it to be. Kinley's patience with our endless questions, his knowledge of birding, culture and experience resulted in the most incredible 10 days of my life. Bhutan is such an amazing country, and could be a bit bewildering to a foreigner without a good guide, There are other companies offering tours but I picked druk Asia/Soul Trips and it was the right choice. This short trip met and exceeded all of my expectations.

We were fortunate to visit in late spring, when Bhutan seemed to be celebrating itself. Wildflowers and rhododendrons bloomed across valleys and hillsides, splashing the landscape with colour and making every drive feel like a journey through a living painting. I was so glad that I clicked on the tour tab when searching for flights and going into the DrukAir site. Firstly it made the process so much easier for flights and visa and tour plan all under one roof. The plan was well thought out - a typical tour plan I suppose, however, our guide Dorje was able to be flexible on what we saw on days in certain areas dependant upon weather, timing and potential busyness of an attraction. A lovely couple of hikes before the main one at Tiger's Nest to immerse into the countryside. Home visits and local meals has a wonderful charm. Definitely opt for the 3 star hotel option as it is more authentic and rustic on occasion. All hotels we stayed in had such friendly staff.

My maiden Bhutan solo trip was far above and beyond my expectation. My guide Sangay and driver Tsering were attentive and thoughtful- taking good care of me throughout my 11 days exploring Paro, Haa, Thimphu, Punakha, and Gangtey. Experiencing the Haa festival, hiking up theTigerNest hike and the organic hot stone bath were the highlights of my trip. I am grateful for the wonderful hospitality I had experienced in Bhutan.

They have a deep understanding of their country and can provide valuable recommendations on the best places to visit, eat, and shop. Our international group of 21 yogis had a very magical and meaningful experience in majestic Bhutan. Mr Sangay Dorji, of Druk Asia, took care of everything we needed and answered all our questions with warmth and competence. The whole process was hassle-free and we were able to build a sense of ease and trust between us right from the beginning. Once the itinerary was refined and sorted out, the group received a detailed and final copy of the itinerary, as well as the Drukair E-Tickets for the flights to Bhutan. 2 weeks prior to the trip, we received information of our guides and all the E-visas for entry into Bhutan for the group. From the get-go, we also received comprehensive information regarding all matters pertaining to Bhutan.

I had an excellent 10-day trip experience in Bhutan. My tour guide, Ms. Ugyen Tshom, was professional, kind, friendly, and caring throughout the trip. She always made sure I felt safe, well guided, and comfortable, and her presence made a big difference to my overall experience. My driver, Mr. Tshering Migmar, was also patient and dependable. Druk Asia organized the tour seamlessly. Upon our arrival at Paro Airport, our guide, Choki, and driver, Tsering, welcomed us warmly and took excellent care of us throughout the trip. They brought us to fascinating locations and were very flexible in accommodating our requests for places we wished to visit. Choki was highly knowledgeable, and we received thorough, insightful explanations. The food was superb, and the accommodations were outstanding.

We had a wonderful tour of Bhutan thanks to our guide Yongko Dorji and our driver Ugyen. They were very polite and professional and took a personal interest in making sure our trip was outstanding. Yongko is very knowledgeable and patiently answered all our questions. We learned so much about the culture of Bhutan and about Buddhism. Ugyen is an excellent driver and also a guide. We also want to thank Sangay for working with us on our itinerary and last minute changes. SoulTrips truly made this a memorable trip.
